any fab tips? we are going for a week over half term with 5 year old who is very excited and copes with hot weather. but any interesting hints gladly welcomed.

Not been recently but bumping 'cos i'd like to know too...
Was there about 20 years ago when there was nothing but sea, no airport, plame trees etc, and would love to go back now with the DC. I

sharm is mad (ie busy) but great fun. i have only been without children too and you just don't look at things the same way, do you?

Kooaburra - i first went about 26 years ago (it was part of Israel then) There was one shack on the beach with snorkles.

Went back last Easter with a dh, a 13yr old and a 10yr old. Loved it but it couldn't have been more different from the first time.
this time is was 5 star all inclusives back then it was a rucksack and kibbutz. Ahh happy days
