We have booked our honeymoon to Egypt and we have been booked on Egyptair flights. Does anyone know if they are any good? I am considering changing over to British Airways if we can.Any advice or comments appreciated!tia.

CHANGE TO BA RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!! Flew Egyptair a couple of years ago to Sharm El Sheikh - crap start to the holiday...five hours with no drinks on board except for whisky, lemonade or coke I think. No water, juices, wine, tea, coffee...and no ice at all. Apparently the incoming flight had been 'lively' and drained all their supplies. No TV either only screens on where the plane was in relation to the ground, the outside temp and speed. Rubbish food, I think a dry sandwich only. And it was 2 hours late taking off, presumably while they tried to remove all those 'lively' earlier passengers from being attached to the drinks trollies . What an excuse!

OMG! I did wonder about them. They are advertised as a "dy" airline, meaning that as they are Muslims they don't have alcoholic drink on board. As this is a honeymoon, I think we deserve a glass of wine with our meal!hmmm, will chat to agents about changing, thanks ww.

Took a lot of sorting out but I have changed us over to BA! It means an extra night in Cairo on the return journey but hey ho, whats 11 nights away for a honeymoon!! They gave us discount too, "for the inconvenience"!!hehehehehe woo hoo!
