Lisbon - where to stay, what to do

Booked a few days break in Lisbon for November (I like cities in Autumn/Winter) - want to do lots of walking, eating and drinking so any recommendations for where to stay to be central, what to do, where to eat would be gratefully received. Thank you.

Oh, I loved Lisbon! I got an Airbnb in the Intendente area, which is quite central and on lots of tube and tram routes to the busiest/most touristy but also nice areas of Alfama and Bairro Alto. Intendente itself is down-to-earth and very diverse – lots of good Turkish/Indian/Nepalese/Chinese restaurants and small fruit and veg/corner shops.

It's a lovely city to walk in (albeit very hilly!) as it's not too big, and at the top of most of the hills is a nice view and a kiosk selling drinks and sometimes snacks/toasted sandwiches etc. I went in December and it was warm enough to sit outside at the kiosks.

TBH we mostly ate in, but apart from the aforementioned restaurants there are lots of gourmet burger places and some seafood restaurants, some more fancy than others. There's also the Time Out market, which is great fun and very buzzy. www.timeoutmarket.com/lisboa/en/

I loved Lisbon.
The place I remember best is a cafe that basically serves tinned fish and bread, called Sol e Pesca. It's much cooler than it sounds...
