Budget help!

I am hoping to take my 3 DC (under 13) away to Spain, or somewhere else sunny and cheap, in October half term.
Has anyone got any ideas or any travel sites where I can really pick up a bargain? I don’t drive so ideally not anywhere that needs a hire car.
Really want to treat them, as their dad left in November.

Don’t mind if it’s half board or self catering or All Inc.

Trying to keep it under about £1200.

TIA :)

I managed to get a good deal on Opodo for Easter. I was surprised as they've been expensive in the past but by being a bit flexible about where to go we got a 5 day trip for less than £230 each. Might be worth a look.

I’ve never heard of Opodo. I’ll cjeck it out. Thank you.

Put your dates, departure airport and party size in here and leave all destinations and board options ticked to see what comes up.

If you're looking at October half term, Canaries, Cyprus, Algarve, Costa del Sol, Malta should still be warm and have stuff going on.

I have access to the same system as booking.com/trivago etc if you'd like me to have a look - we just got a great deal for next month x

Could I jump in? We have two DC and we’re both teacher so can only go in summer holidays. Any ideas. We can’t afford more than £2500 for four of us!

Thanks in advance

Corbymummy · 07/05/2018 10:24

You'll get a great deal for that - I'm guessing you're looking for two weeks? Let me know where you want to fly from and how old the kids are and I'll have a look if you want x

imdad · 07/05/2018 11:55

1 week fine! We’re West Wales so Cardiff, Bristol or Birmingham but Heathrow is fine. Thanks so much - we’re stumped! Earliest we can go is 21/7.

Thank you so much Smile

Corbymummy · 07/05/2018 13:58

Have you seen anything that's been close? I might be able to price match x

imdad · 07/05/2018 14:45

We would welcome any prices you may have? Very much appreciated.
Thanks all so much Smile

Have a look at flights to Malaga (on Skyscanner) and either Fuengirola or Benalmadena. Both on a train line straight from the airport and large enough towns to have plenty open in October.

imdad · 13/05/2018 22:35

Any joy?

Corbymummy can I be really cheeky and ask if you can help me too?
I have just posted on Trip Advice under Holiday Challenge.
Funds are tight and further complicated by our DS 15 suffering from anxiety attacks and Misophonia. This is triggered by noise. Not volume but just certain everyday noises which make it impossible for him to eat with us or be in crowded places. Ideally we would like self catering accommodation where he can be left if things get too much but in an area where there are things to do. We are not into long walks but enjoy the beach.
Accommodation is so expensive in the UK. Max budget is around £1K.
We didn't have a holiday last year for the same reasons and it really upsets me as we spend so little time together as a family because of DS' s issues and I feel like we are loosing those precious times.
A villa with a pool would be amazing as it would mean DS11 could have a lovely time ( he misses out alot as limited by D'S 15) while DS15 would feel relaxed enough to leave his room.
Just don't think we can do this on our budget and can't think of anything else that would be good for both of them.
