Days out in Winchester?

Currently on holiday in Winchester and looking for days out suitable for us and DS who is 5.

Any suggestions?

Have you been to the science museum outside town yet? Day trip to the New Forest to see the ponies might be fun? Down to Lepe Park to see the sea?

Exbury Gardens? New Forest Wildlife Park?

Marwell Zoo, Peppa Pig World, Hillier Gardens, Science Museum, the Great Hall has the “round table”
and can dress up as Knight/King

Definitely the science museum.

West gate museum, museum near the Cathedral, Bishops Palace, City Mill and park opposite with lunch at the River cottage Canteen. Steam Railway in Alresford. Milestones Museum in Basingstoke.
