Child friendly hotel for October sun

Can anyone recommend a child friendly hotel for a family of five perhaps in the Canaries? Older kids are 8 and youngest will probably sleep with me and dh. Am considering Gran Canaria or maybe Tenerife. Ideally would like a suite with separate sleeping area for children, maybe sofa bed? Or a two bed apartment?
Have been to Princesa Yaiza last year and it was ideal. Perfect location, lots for children to do, safe, clean and fabulous breakfast.
So I am looking for something similar but budget is a little less this year.
Can anyone recommend anywhere that they have been? My head is spinning from looking at hotels but would love to hear where others with similar family have stayed.

Occidental Lanzarote Mar definitely has family suites which sleep 6. It's a bright modern resort with loads for the kids. There are two kids pools, mini disco, indoor soft play, outdoor playground, kids clubs, kids buffet and it's very near a safe sandy beach. Gym and spa facilities for you! I'm not sure how prices compare to Princessa Yaiza.

We were hoping not to go to Lanzarote this year. Although we loved it.
Thinking Gran Canaria or maybe Tenerife.
