Hello Mums, could anyone advise on which is likely to be better? We’re after some October sunshine - thank you (Rain today is making me think of holidays!!)

what are you looking for? It very much depends on the resort. I've been to lovely places in gran canaria and lanzarote and cyprus. there are also dumps in each country.

Very true! We’re looking for a child friendly resort that is relaxed. We’ve just got back from Maspalomas in Gran Canaria which we loved as it ticked all the boxes

Canaries will be warmer.

I would think canaries would probably be warmer. We went to canaries end Nov beginning of Dec in 2016 and was lovely, still lively and not to warm for our then toddler

Have never been to Cyprus but have been to Lanzarote in October and it was on average 30 degrees. Lovely!

Luckingfovely · 29/04/2018 11:40

Cyprus will be less warm, but is about a zillion times nicer than the Canaries.

MyGuideJools · 03/05/2018 21:49

we went to Cyprus in October. I had never been before, always went to the canaries.
Cyprus was so hot, 28/29° and I preferred it to the canaries.
Saying that, we've just come back from Tenerife as it was cheap and cheerful Grin
I think either will suit you tbh.

Only if you are comparing the nice parts of Cyprus with the worst parts of the Canaries.

You could equally choose a lovely quiet villa or coastal town in the Canaries with lots of local food and interesting things to see and do over Ayia Napa.

Either, but check out Salou- we went in October a few years ago and it was fabulous ❤ I have access to the same systems as trivago/booking.com etc if you'd like me to have a look for a deal x
