Where to stay in Andalucía in August?

Four of us going and we’ll rent an apartment and self cater. Two adult children.

Must be on the coast.
Within an hour or so of Malaga airport.
Please no overly British places, I hope this won’t be a struggle

Any recommendations?:)

Usually opt for somewhere quieter where we can read and drink wine.

Very quiet place and we had the most relaxing holiday ever. Kids loved it, safe place. Two good and cheap restaurants within walking distance. But you will need a car to go anywhere else
