Annual travel insurance overlap.

We've got annual travel insurance and the policy ends in October. But...we've booked to go away in December. If we had to claim before December, do I just renew the policy when it's due or do I have to take out a new policy now for December? Hope that makes sense.

So you’re wondering if the trip is covered by your existing policy? You actually raise a really good point that I’ve never considered before, I think the only way to know for sure would be to call your insurer and ask. But please post back as I would be interested to know what they say!

Yes. That's right. I wondered if anyone had had the same problem. Seems daft to be overlapping, but better too much insurance than not enough.
