Annual travel insurance overlap.

We've got annual travel insurance and the policy ends in October. But...we've booked to go away in December. If we had to claim before December, do I just renew the policy when it's due or do I have to take out a new policy now for December? Hope that makes sense.

Oh I think I understand... you’re booked to go away in Dec and want travel insurance coverage now in case something happens that causes the trip to be cancelled, and you have an annual policy which expires in October. So you’re wondering if the trip is covered by your existing policy? You actually raise a really good point that I’ve never considered before, I think the only way to know for sure would be to call your insurer and ask. But please post back as I would be interested to know what they say!

Yes. That's right. I wondered if anyone had had the same problem. Seems daft to be overlapping, but better too much insurance than not enough. Confused
