Has anyone stayed at the Tropical Princess, Bavaro, Dominican?

I have been looking at this for next years holiday and was wondering if anyone had stayed there?

Haven't but there are better places to stay in the caribbean...why would you choose DR. I know it probably is cheap, but cheap is not always good.

Where are you flying from?

We would be flying from newcastle and thomson have started doing the direct flights from here.
It would be too much for us to get to manchester to fly somewhere else in the caribbean as we dont drive and will have a 2 year old and a 8 month old with us.
Ive been to the dominican before but stayed in the north.
Ive heard that the beaches in the south are better.

I have been told the South is much better, have a great time.
Make sure you get some high factor sun cream for those little ones.
