If so, can you recommend it for children aged 11 and 12? Are there any hotels or residences you can suggest? Thinking of going at the beginning of June

Only as a day trip from Spetses a long time ago. If I remember there are no cars on the island, is that the same place? Very quiet and that was in comparison to Spetses which is much quieter than a lot of the Greek islands.

Yes, been, before we had children though. (10 years ago) Beautiful rocky traffic free island. If they want beaches, I’d say go somewhere else, as I don’t actually recall any .. we swam off rocky platforms, with ladders down to the sea, which was fun. We stayed in the Hotel Bratsera , which I loved and which had a nice fairly big courtyard pool. It has a pretty harbour and if you enjoy simple pleasures of wandering up little lanes and ogling the nice houses (lots of wealthy Athenians and architects have places here I think) eating lovely big lunches and swimming in cool clear water, maybe trying a few boat trips round the island, then it could work for you. If you think a more seasidy place is better, go to nearby Spetses as it has plenty of sand (or do both).. they’re v accessible from Athens
