Has anyone been to the quiet parts for a family holiday? If so where did you go???

Potinax and Peurto San Miguel lovely quiet and in the north. Ideally you need a car

Es Cana is busier area but not crazy.more family style and near the hippy market and you have buses to get out and about

Are you looking for a villa or a hotel? Villas can be quite remote so car hire can be essential.

Agree with PP that the North is the best area. San Carlos/Sant Carles is a pretty village near the hippy market. Santa Getrudis is also nice.

Santa Eularia is busier and apparently popular with families although I wouldn't describe it as quiet.

Lots of nice beaches/beach restaurants along the north east coast and nice places to eat in the north as well.

Avoid San Antonio and Plaja D'en Bossa like the plague. Ibiza town is nice for a day trip/evening meal even if you don't want to party. The old town (d'alt vila) is very beautiful and has some great restaurants.

How quiet it is also depends on the time of year. July/August can be crazily busy. Late September and late May/June can be a lot quieter.

I used to live there (in the party bit) and now holiday in the quieter parts!
