When was the earliest you travelled with your LO?

My husband is Greek Cypriot and so we are planning a trip to visit his family after baby is born. The dates we are looking at baby will be around 8 weeks. Just wondering what age you have taken your new borns abroad? Thanks x

My ds was 8 weeks. We lived abroad at the time and flew to Malaysia. It was fine, travelling with a new born is easy, travelling with a toddler is challenging!

We had a 6 week old at our wedding who had travelled from the other side of the world. Apart from getting a passport in time and your own recovery from the birth, the younger they are when travelling the easier I think. Especially if you breastfeed.
