Summer holiday not too hot.

Any one have any recommendations of places to go in the summer that won't go above 30ish Deg. We want somewhere with a beach and things to do but preferably not to busy as have a 15 year old and 12 year old who are not keen on heat or crowds!

The French coast from La Rochelle northwards has some gorgeous sandy beaches and will be a pleasant temperature. The vendee region is fantastic and there's a lot to do. It's also a surfer's paradise and a great option with teenagers. There's lots to see and do around La Rochelle and Nantes.

What sort of accommodation are you after? We recently had a lovely holiday at a Landal Greenparks site on the Dutch coast. Gorgeous sandy beach with lots of watersports.
