Have booked to go on holiday in May with husband and kids, at the time of flight they will be 21 months and 6 months.
The 6 month will be ok as they are still bf and should sleep as being cuddled.
But how do I keep the 21 month old entertained?? He just wants to be in at everything! We have booked a seat for him but will need to sit on husbands lap for take off and landing and I know that will end in tears, neither have much patience Confused we went away last year and I was able to take him on my lap but had to spend a lot of the flight walking around to keep him amused.
Planning on taking a tablet with some of his favourite things on it and there will be food but just really worried that the flight will be really stressful, 4 hour flight. Any tips would be greatly received

Biscuits. And more biscuits.

For 21month, pack a couple of lollipops to suck for popped ears and possible sickness.
A set of stacking beakers - great for playing hiding games with snacks like raisins and Cheerios. Even better if you can get a Russian Doll
Bubble wrap to pop
A couple of pots of play dough.
Pipe cleaners
Try and get your hands on some wikki stix
Fuzzy felt
Sticker book or Melissa and Doug reusable sticker pad
This is bulky to carry but it was worth it: a tub of sticklebricks
