Canary Islands in October

Planning a trip to the Canary Islands in October. Which will be the best island to go to and to stay?

We are 2 adults and 2 children.

It really depends what kind of holiday you are looking for .
I have been to Tenerife amongst friends and to Lanzarote , Fuerteventura and Gran Canaria with OH and our two children .
Gran Canaria has LOTS to do for children (animal park , zoo , water park) but imo is a little soulless .
We LOVED Fuerteventura - lovely beaches , friendly , great scenery .
Similarly , we loved Playa Blanca in Lanzarote . It is beautiful .
Thought Tenerife was very tacky but we went to Playa de Las Americas/ Los Christianos . I have heard that the other side of the island is lovely however .

We are looking for nice beaches and scenery and good food so it seems like Fuerteventura will be a good option. I prefer white sand and golden sand beaches instead of black sand.

Playa blanca in Lanzarote has white sand :)

Second playa Blanca, it’s lovely and really easy with kids.
