Tried & failed to get something in Dorset via Sun Newspaper promo which gives an idea of budget! Camping is a no no as is somewhere like Pontins! Any suggestions?

I've seen some deals for hotel stay & 2 days entry to Warwick Castle (do you need 2 days?) - only 1 night but better than nowt. Any other suggestions? Kids are low teens.

Thank you 😊

At first thought, it might seem absurd to stay in a youth hostel, but more and more youth hostels are targeting themselves at families. They have special family ensuites, games rooms, cots available, a kids menu etc...We've stayed in a few and they're so relaxed and friendly. I don't sleep under canvas so they're a cheap alternative. The YHA at Cheddar, Somerset, is in a good positions for exploring the Gorge and caves, there's a local activity centre and it's not too far from Bristol. The hostel itself serves good food, there's a garden and conservatory for relaxing.
