Holiday ideas- cheap please!

Hi we are looking to go on holiday somewhere different this year (usually camp in uk)- like the idea of France or Italy (happy to drive over) and looking for recommendations for cheap places to stay for a week (max £400) for two adults?
Also happy to camp there if we take the car over but not sure if camp sites appear as often as they do in the UK?

There are campsites everywhere in France. We stayed at this one a few years ago, and it was lovely. It looks like it would come to about €315 for a week.

Municipal campsites are much cheaper, and are often still very good. This one, for instance, looks like it would cost just over €80 for a week. And it's on the banks of the Dordogne.

Thank you @CardinalSin :) I'm going to take a look at those sites :) we did self catering south of Paris one year but it worked out quite expensive in the end so opting for a cheaper option this time :)

I don't particularly remember, but I think there were people who had enough English to help you out. There was a friendly little bar there that served some quite reasonable food (a very limited menu). Canoeing on the Tarn, and some wonderful sightseeing.

You're less likely to find good English at the municipal sites, although it is probably just a matter of luck.

Wash it every 2 days. Will get in the bath every night but skip a night washing my hair. It's super long and thick. I always get compliments about my hair and I love it, only in the past 5 years have I started taking good care of it and you can very much tell the difference in lengthy and strength.

As a teenager I had horrible bleached, thin scraggly hair. Washed it constantly, heat to dry, and style.

Completely cut all that out now, and as I said wash it every other day and it's really helped. You wouldn't believe the difference.

Dry shampoo is a hero 😍 lol.
