Ways to save at universal?

Please can you give me tips on cheaper places to eat and make savings whilst in universal.

We took food in with us!

We took a lot of stuff for breakfast; cereal, nature valley bars etc. Saved money and time. We weren't staying onsite though.

Avoid the slushies. They are rank. Apart from the frozen butterbeer. It's yum.

If you're going to cold stone in city walk, get a massive ice cream between you rather than buying individual ones.

Loads of the restaurants in city walk will have vouchers/loyalty cards. Check websites. Bubba gumps do etc. We got a book of vouchers at our hotel too.
