Heathrow hotel recommendations?

Flying to Australia in July with 2 teenagers. Check in is 9am and I don't want the stress of M25 potential problems, so thinking of going night before. Anyone able to recommend any of the many hotels near Heathrow? Not too expensive and easy transfer to airport preferably.

Splurge on the Sofitel. Very comfortable excellent buffet breakfast. Staff brilliant. You're worth it. It's your holiday! M+s close by for snacks/ drinks in room

I also like Sofitel.

We stayed at Heathrow last year before an early flight and HIGHLY recommend it.we only live 90 mins away and have previously got up early but we partially mitigated the cost by leaving the car there and getting a shuttle to the terminal. The cost was small when taken in context of the cost of the holiday. I think we stayed at Radisson ( not 100% sure) , it was impersonal but we literally just parked and slept there .

We stayed at the Sheraton Skyline hotel at Heathrow - really comfortable rooms and good service. I was flying with a toddler with a 10hr stopover in London so only booked the room for the 10hrs - very reasonable. Also have its own shuttle but you can also take any of the red London buses from any of the hotels on that 'strip'/road to the hotel for free.

Crown plaza.... 2 double beds in a room car parking outside the hotel for 3 weeks cost 200..

Thanks for the suggestions. Sofitel looks lovely but beyond my budget night before 3 weeks in Oz! So have booked Radisson
at £85 ; only going to be sleeping there and not stressing about M25 😊
