Recommendations for s/c Malta

I’m not very good at finding holidays. Normal hotels I am fine but actual holidays I am rubbish.
We want to go to Malta, it needs to be self catering and actually have some catering equipment - a ring, a microwave, a kettle etc.
I have been places in the past this has been a stretch.
We would also like somewhere with a pool and not too far from a beach - we won’t go often but will go once or twice.
We also want somewhere quiet, we aren’t interested in entertainment etc

That seems a big list - which is why I can’t pinpoint what I want. I haven’t been to Malta for 20 years so don’t remember much about resorts

Any Malta experts 🇲🇹?

We've stayed in 2 Aparthotels before in Mellieha. Both were self catering but with the bonus of restaurant on site if wanted. The Luna is down by the bay so beach is on your doorstep. Not been for a while and I know it's had an overhaul so should be better than the basic it was!
The Pergola is in the village but set back from main road with stunning views over the bay towards Gozo. Although there is evening entertainment it's very low key ie no bands and the hotel is quiet
