short holiday near glasgow

we are looking for a short holiday (2/3 days) near glasgow. aiming for any loch, where could relax enjoying the natural beauty of lake and mountain. with kids aged 4.5 and 2. though thinking lochness will be abit far with kids hence loch lomond is on priority. what do you think?
any recommendation to stay(lodge/cottage) will be appreciated that will not cost us fortune. thanks

Loch Ness is no where near Glasgow, it’s near Inverness. It would be a 4hour drive - more if the roads are full of tourists & caravans.

Try Forest Holidays at Strathyre/loch lubnaig. Or Loch Lomond would be the obvious choice

I was going to suggest Strathyre and Callander is a nice town tomooch about in

Crieff hydro in Perthshire. Beautiful countyside and tonnes of activities for kids

Near Crianlarich though. There are some at Tarbert too which is closer to the sea lochs.
