When is a suite not a suite?

I’m getting really frustrated trying to book a holiday. DD2 is awful at going to bed and DD1 wakes up earlier which can wake up DD2, resulting in a grumpy DD2. So we need to be able to properly close the door on part of our accommodation. But every time I think I’ve found a decent looking hotel offering some sort of split accommodation - generally called a ‘suite’ it just turns out to be a bedroom with a sofa bed in it. It’s driving me a bit nuts!

Any suggestions for somewhere warmish with a heated pool, half board or more in October half term? Thanks

We’ve booked introtel sa marina for October in Cala for, Majorca. Self catering I bed apartment with two separate sofa beds in the living room.

You can add in meals for extra cost

Thanks, do you know if there is a heated pool?

HL Club Playa Blanca in Lanzarote has two bedroom apartments. One of the pools is heated. It is AI

We stayed at the Gran Hotel in Arecife in Tenerife last October half term. Having spent hours traveling through websites trying to find a proper suite I know your fristration. The suite we stayed in there was sort of L shaped and had a sliding door between the sofa bed and bathroom and the main bedroom bit. Nice area too, warm in October and lots for kids to do.

There’s a pool. Not sure if it’s heated

Also a heated indoor pool there, but the ingested outdoor ones were absolutely fine

Did you get sorted OP?

PandaPieForTea · 13/04/2018 22:42

Yup - European Center Parcs for about what it would have cost for one of us to go to Tenerife. I’m sure we’ll make it to a proper beach holiday one day, but I just couldn’t be sure it would work now and it’s so much money to risk.

Thanks for the suggestions - I’ll watch the thread so that I can go back to it next time.
