Favourite holiday with toddlers?

Just as it says on the tin, I am seeking inspiration from others about their favourite ever holiday with little ones. We are likely to be travelling in October if that helps and would ideally find some sun, somewhere to swim and preferably a kids club as our little ones enjoy the activities.

Abama in Tenerife is a great place to stay. They have their own beach with imported sand (most beaches in Tenerife are stone) with toddler beach toys, accessesd on a little train. Also lovely pools and a small kids room with toys. Hire a car, and there's lots to see around. It's expensive, but if you can do it outside school holidays it's more reasonable.

Lisbon is also fab with toddlers. Surprising amount of fun things to do. And definitely go for a trip out for a few days to the beach at Cascais and the very pretty town of Sintra, with lots of great places to see especially Quinta da Regaleira

Costa Adeje is another choice - there's a beach just outside of the hotel, kids club, lovely area (with restaurantes, supermarkets) around the hotel.
