I want to go away Monday for a few nights

I would like somewhere near the coast but ideally a hotel so it feels like a holiday ( with a pool for ds who is 5 as weather in uk looks rubbish) but I don't really want a family room as dh and I will need to go to bed when ds does!!!

And a spa or something for me!

Any ideas?
Wanted to go abroad but dh won't fly so am sulking!

Sorry, the top one on the list , the Haven Hotel.

Ribby Hall?

Those look nice but I really need a separate room or part of room that dh and I go into when ds goes to bed. I've really struggled to find this sort of set up before

Centerparcs? Elveden not far from coast... I think they have hotel accommodation as well as chalets.

Woolley Grange. Perfectly set up for kids and adults. We went 13 times when our DSs were under 7!

Ooh will look at Wooley grange thanks

Yes I want the benefits of self catering but with the convenience of a hotel...

There must be somewhere in between

The Unison Croyde Bay resort has hotel but and also self-catering chalets and is right by Croyde Beach. The family rooms have a wall that nearly divides it in two - definitely same room but better than typical family room option. There is a small pool and I think there might be some spa treatment options. It's not really luxurious but we had a lovely few days there.

There are others in the Woolley group. The Elms was always good and Fowey.
