Where shall I go for a week's RnR?

I'm in the fortunate position of having a surfeit of leave to use up, so am thinking about taking myself off for ~1 week. OH is staying behind

• Am happy to go v last minute, likely mid May.
• Want to go in term time for peace and quiet
• Would prefer all-inclusive short haul for ease, so probably a package deal. Anything between 4-7 nights.
• Plan to sit snooze in the sun and read books and do very little else, so needs to be warm.

Turkey seems to come up a lot, as does Portugal. Am I missing some super-obvious ideal destination? I don't particularly like the Costa El British type places or those massive resort hotels with 3 pools and 10 restaurants etc

Sicily is the most relaxing place I've been to. We went in May and the weather was perfect, not too hot. The food is amazing and there's a lovely slow pace to everything.
