First passport in a hurry

Hi
We have been trying for a second dc for years, kind of gave up and booked a holiday paying for almost all of it up front.
Fell pregnant almost straight away after paying the money and now due a baby end of June and flying out end of August.
Any advice about how to guarantee passport returned by then? I am nervous about quick turn around time but we can't do anything till baby is here.

Not sure how to guarantee it quickly but with my DS we went from taking the photo to passport in our hands in less than 2 weeks in March 2016. We were impressed with the timescale!

I'm so unorganised that I leave all passport related admin til last minute Blush
I've always made appointments at the passport office and got a passport 3hrs later. Well aware there are probably less stressful ways to do it, but I liked not relying on post. I e always used Peterborough. Good luck!

www.gov.uk/get-a-passport-urgently there is a 1 week fast track service for children

The 1 day service isn't available for a first child passport

Not sure yiu can fast track first passports but even the non fast track is pretty quick. 5 days for our baby DS

If you use the fast track service you'll be fine, though it is costly (especially if you have to go to a passport office hundreds of miles away as it is the only appointment available, because you need the passport within 8 days!).
