We are thinking of a family hol in Croatia this summer. Porec area is supposed to be lovely?

Looking for recommendations please on hotels/villas with plenty of activities for DC's

We considered Croatia but couldn’t decide on an area and really wanted a pool so our older DC could have some down time and hopefully meet other holiday friends. We struggled to find enough advice or a hotel with a pool. Travel agents said it was more geared to couples rather than families. Also depending on the age of your DC high summer is meant to be extremely hot and hotel rooms for 4 if children are above a certain age seem to be as rare as hens teeth. A Vila private let seems to be the way to go but it sounded like hard work if you wanted a relaxing day by a pool in the shade (which we often enjoy). Good look with your search, hopefully someone will be able to provide positive advice.
