Where to stay in Copenhagen

We're looking to go to Copenhagen for 3/4 nights in May but unsure where to stay. Ideally looking for an apartment with two bedrooms, plus living area (and ideally a kitchen).

Fairly near the centre would be good but don't mind a little further out if there are good transport links.

I've had a quick look on Airbnb but just wondered if anyone else had stayed and had any recommendations. Thanks!

We're going in June and have ended up booking a hotel for various reasons. We did look at Air BnB and found some really interesting apartments in Vesterbro and Fredriksburg? but read a few reviews where the owners had cancelled at late notice and couldn't risk that with 2 young kids and possibility of having to book an (extortionate) last minute hotel. There are quite a few aparthotels too if you have a look on Booking.com and Expedia.

We stayed in a great apartment- I’ll see if I can dig out the details

We stayed in 71 Nyhavn Hotel which has family / interlinking rooms. The staff were lovely and we adored being by the water. Would definitely return.

So sorry, I misread your post and didn't realise you're looking for an apartment, OP. Apologies. Hope you have a lovely time in Copenhagen!

If you would consider a hotel we stayed in Hotel Tivoli and absolutely loved it. There was a separate check in for kids!

Might be too big for you but good location and some cheaper bars and restaurants to eat in nearby

Thanks for all the ideas. I wouldn't rule out a hotel if we could still have separate sleeping areas. I will take a look at all the suggestions.
