A rare opportunity to go away sans kids end of June (please be hot!).

Any suggestions of "must sees?"

Are you you able to travel outside of nice? If so I think the hill village St Paul de Vence is un missable. And I really really enjoyed grass perfume musuem

It's really easy to travel along the coast from Nice from the bus station (or by train). Consider Villefranche, Monaco, Cannes (even if just for some lovely sand to lie in instead of pebbles!), Antibes.

Vieux Nice is lovely to wander round, and the flower market, which is also great for eating & drinking in the evening.

Chagall museum. Matisse museum. Ice cream stall in old town with hundreds of flavours, some quite unusual.

Tourettes-sur-Loup is a medieval hilltop village which is beautiful and about an hour from Nice. Grasse is the perfume town. Monaco is worth a look just for the yachts. Cannes is lovely but busy. I’ve been told Antibes is better. Next time we go will visit Antibes.

Get the train to ville franche sur mer. It’s one of the most beautiful towns I have ever been
