I'm considering an agriturismo family holiday in May. Me, dh and pur kids aged 10, 8 and 1. It's a birthday surprise for DH so would love somewhere special with a pool and grear breakfasts. Ideally also the facilities to do some of our own cooking too.
Any ideas? Thanks

We stayed in one a year or so ago called Chiesa Ignano- it was so beautiful. Its a converted chufch. If you Google it, you should easily find it (I can't seem to copy the link). It was just below Bologna which we really liked, easy access to northern Tuscany. Children loved the pool and nature trails, the breakfast was served in the cellar and although the house had little kitchens, you could use a barbecue too. I think there were 5 or 6 rooms / houses so very quiet even in August. Bizarrely for somewhere so quaint it had a hot tub tucked away which we went in with a glass of wine when the children were in bed Smile

We have been here www.long-travel.co.uk/masseria-gregorio which was lovely. Beautiful town and countryside nearby, lovely breakfasts and friendly owner and self catering facilities too with great local markets. We flew and hired a car to explore.
