Holiday in Greece, quiet, sunny, safe beaches - any ideas?

At the grand old age of 40 I have never been to Greece so am thinking of going this summer.

No idea where to start looking. I want somewhere quiet-ish, not too touristy with nice beaches. Kids are 7 and 4 and happy with sand and swimming - don't need things like kids clubs.

Hi there! I´d recommend Crete and a place called Kokini Hani (can´t remember if that´s how you spell it). Me and DH went there about 8 years ago so it may have changed by now but it was a lovely quiet resort and had a wonderful beach. We didn´t have kids then but if they´re not into kids clubs this would be more than suitable. There were no nightclubs either, just a couple of late night bars - it was bliss!!

Too true puddle! Thought you might like a look anyway Now that I´ve mentioned it I think I might research it myself - could do with a holiday myself right now!!!!!
