DH too DS yesterday and tells me it was very good and to be recommended, despite the fact that it was expensive to get in.

DS loved it, particularly Jedi KNight school where he had a light sabre battle with Darth Maul and General someone or other (do pay more attention mum)!

Lunch at Yo Sushi and then a trip to Hamleys made a little boy very happy

thanks for that. I can't wait to take ds, who has to be the most obsessive star wars fan there is at the moment. I think a lightsabre battle with Darth Maul would be his idea of absolute heaven. Oh, and it would have been General Greivous BTW. You must pay more attention mum - do you not realise that a battle with the General means battling a part-androi part-alien with four arms and a lightsabre in each hand????

Was it horrendously busy - did they get time to look at what they wanted to - I was a bit worried it would be a bit 'herded'.

thedogsbollox · 06/05/2007 20:06

I think it was busy but it was the first day of opening, so will probably calm down soon.

They got to see everything they wanted to, although DH did say that the Jedi Knight school was very busy as they only take 6 children at a time and only planned to run it every half hour. Having said that they were running it almost continuously, so they did at least recognise the need to run more classes.

Oh and just checked - it wasn;t a general at all it was darth sydious (sp?).

We are hoping to go, do you know how much it is to get in?

Ladymuck · 06/05/2007 21:22

I think that it is £50 for a family ticket.

WestCountryLass · 06/05/2007 21:25

Blimey

sunnysideup · 06/05/2007 22:37

oh, Darth Sidious eh....The Head Honcho, the Big Cheese. There's NOTHING I don't know about Star Wars, as you see.
