Family friendly hotels in Germany

Hi, I'm looking for recommendations of a chain of family hotels in Germany. I've looked at Kinderhotels.de and they look fab but there aren't any in a good location for us. Are there any other chains to recommend or any hotels particularly around the Ruhrgebiet area? I'd basically like somewhere like Martinhal in Germany.

Landal Greenparks aren't hotels but more like a better version of Centre Parcs.

Try the Familotel network as there are quite a few in Germany and they seem geared up for children. We stayed in one of the Familotel hotels in Austria and it was good.

It's expensive but Traube Tonbach in the Black Forest is great. It has a brilliant kids hall. We love the hotel as it is luxury, but friendly with immaculate service. It does lots of activities that involve the children being outdoors so forest walks, barefoot stream walks, pony trek. The children eat their dinner in the kids club which is included in the price and the food is lovely. My children love the hotel.
