For DH, me and DD (14mths). Need to go either early July (before the school holidays) or the second week of September. Struggling to find anywhere with vacancies, would like self catering about 2-3hrs drive from my home (Wiltshire)

Yes! have been looking solidly for the last week and can't find anything Would like to be on the coast too.

I can totally recommend here. A personal friend owns the cottages and they are lovely. There is a playbarn, ducks and chicks to feed etc and gather eggs. Close to Bude and some lovely beaches. Loads to do in the area.

It isn't on the coast, but only a couple of miles away.

Again, still under the 3 hours from Wiltshire (depending where in Wiltshire you are). Vacancies for the dates you want and incredibly inexpensive. Accommodation is a bit cheap and cheerful, but clean and definitely OK for a couple with a toddler - we have 3 children!

It doesn't have availability so you'd have to ring/email, but even high season rates are under your budget. Very central location, nice accommodation. Only downside is the passageway into the parking area isn't very wide, depending what sort of car you have. But we just managed it with a Scenic.

I'll have a think and see if I can find other places we've been to since we had children!
