Anyone been on a Cruise? Would you recommend it with two dd's under 3?

I cant fly as my dd's are too allergic for the cabin so was thinking of going on a cruise, would you recommend it?

Hi muminfife, I'm really scared of confined spaces so the thought of being in a tunnel under all that water terrifies me also scared of flying so a boat seems to be the only option (even though I cant swim)

Thank you for your input though, very much appreciated

Friend of friend went on QE2 annually with their kids from when oldest (and then only) was 2.

Friend was terrified on their behalf of 'toddler overboard' incident.

Family loved it - lots to do apparently, even for little ones (there was a creche) though you would, of course, have to be fabulously rich

You can travel by boat to loads of places in Europe, I know someone who cruised to Scandinavia and spent a week there (can't remember which country)

Sounds good thank you everyone for posting, I'm trying to decide between a cruise around germany/amsterdam etc or a ferry ride to Spain.

Spain sounds warmer
