Has anyone done fly drive to Eurocamp (or similar) in South of France?

We would like to go to a eurocamp kind of place in France in last week of August. Looked at ferry/eurotunnel and drive to Brittany but have decided we would really like some sunshine and so are considering south of France. We only have a week so too far to drive.
Has anyone done a fly drive and do you book flights & car separately or can it all be done as a package?
Also any recommendations for sites? Doesn't have to be eurocamp, yelloh also look good. Just want things for the kids to do and some evening entertainment.

we have been to many sites in languedoc-roussillon region of France but we take our own caravan so cant really comment on the flights and car hire. Do you want a large site with lots on or just a small/medium quiet site, near the coast or more inland ?
It might be worth looking for an area/site first then looking which operators are on the site for the best deal
There is a Eurocamp group page on facebook
www.facebook.com/groups/259964121055944/
which id recommend checking out as there is a lot of advice and tips on their what is best in terms of flights and car hire

About 5 years ago we went to a eurocamp site near Argeles sur mer - Bois de valMarie perfect location- walk to beach, restaurants, marina , boat to colliere which is beautiful . We flew to Barcelona and it was a two hour drive although Perpignan is about 30 mins away . Children were 10 and 6 at the time and it is still the best holiday we’ve ever had.

We drove to the south of France last summer and stayed at La Baume which is near to Nice airport.

We done fly-drive to Canvas Holidays site near Agde (Les Mediterranees - Beach Garden) and also Cala Gogo near Saint Cyprien (Perpignan area) (don't think Cala Gogo is a Canvas site anymore). We booked flights and cars separately, but I think you can book them through Canvas.

I did a fly drive to barcelona and stayed at a site about an hour away. The site was fantastic, on the beach, pool etc.
Really good holiday. If you want I'll track down the name of the site.

We have flown down to Bezier and stayed on a Les Sablons...we hadn't intended to hire a car but DD broke her arm on day 2 horse riding so we did hire a car to get out and about and explore the area - which was brilliant (It was Easter and weather was super...although not all the camp facilities were open).
Another option would be to do Eurostar down to the area (Marseille or even further Nice). We hired a villa last year and found the Eurostar was cheaper than flights.

We flew to Perpignan & its just a 30 min drive to Argeles sur Mer - we stayed at La Sirene, its quite a big site but has the most fantastic pool facilities.
