We’ve been looking at Berny-Riviere which ticks most of our boxes but am I missing anywhere else even better? We have a 4.5yr old and a 2yr old and will stay in a mobile home. Ideally we want to be able to walk to the local town/village - it would be good to not have to drive too much once there. Our kids are pretty easily amused when provided with sand, water, and space for running round, but I’d like a playground nearby - anything above that is a bonus!

You can't beat Berny Rivière for location if you want to visit Paris, but with small kids we prefer being near the coast. Le Croix de Vieux Pont is massive and crowded. My family had a more relaxing time at Le Domaine du Val.

Thanks rice!

That place looks lovely, but with a 2-yr old and a 4-yr, relaxation always feels pretty out of reach anyway to be honest 😁

We might have a day in Paris, but the appeal for us is more the relatively short drive from Calais.

Berny Rivière is one of the best sites we’ve been to. You and your kids will love it, hours spent at the lakeside beach building castles. I have teens and adult children and they’d still go here having gone for many years.
