Kids new passport

My kids, DD (13yrs) & DS (8yrs) need a new passport, do the photos need signing on the back does anyone know?

The 8 year olds will as all kids ones need countersigning if age 11 or under. The other depends whether they can still be recognised from the old picture.

Thank you - I think DD was about 6 on last one so she's obviously changed, same for DS.

Just done my kids, similar ages to yours. I did the Check and Send service at the Post office and was told that photos for both needed to be signed.
