Pool Holiday in April.....where best?

Considering Cyprus, Canaries or Cape Verde.

Would love to be able to swim in the pool. Has anyone been to any of these destinations in April? How warm were they?

Tia.

Cyprus will definitely be far too cold for a pool holiday. The weather might be nice, but the water will be freezing. You need to go further south towards the Equator . Even in Tenerife, unless the pool is heated it will be chilly. I have been several times around Easter and jumping in the pool always took a bit of determination.
I have never been to Capo Verde, but I think it would be the warmest.

Canaries.

I recommend Lanzarote. Am there now. Have been swimming in the pool today and currently nursing a mild sunburn with a dry martini.

AnyFucker Perfect!
I'm going to Lanzarote in March. I've been to Canaries many times in winter and summer.
I would expect warm sunny days - like a good summer day here. It gets dark quite early and evenings can be cool. It can also rain. Not often, but I once had a wet week in Gran Canaria in March.
The sea and pools are too cold for me in the Canaries even in summer but I am a wuss. However we once took DC in April and the pool was not heated. They were gutted they couldn't play in it as it was so cold.

There was light rain this morning but the skies cleared by lunchtime. It's pretty windy but sunny and hot now. It's changeable at this time of year but there has been part of a day sunny every day. Evenings are cold though and the heat has gone by 5-6pm. 21 degrees not bad though, I don't mind changeable weather.

Canaries would be fine as long as the pool is heated.

I’ve struggled to find out whether pools are heated in the Canaries. Some say things like ‘acclimatised’ which apparently isn’t the same as heated. So I gave up on holidaying there as I couldn’t find somewhere guaranteed to have a heated pool that ticked my other boxes.

My Tui travel agent informed today that the pools at Sensatori Tenerife are heated.

We stayed at the Arona Gran in Los Cristinanos, Tenerife. (TUI Sensimar)
It's adults only though!
The pools was heated (too warm sometimes!) and it was a brilliant hotel. Excellent spa, amazing food. Not too expensive. Full of older guests but that meant everything was perfect!
location right near Los Cristianos which isn't a pretty area but the hotel was first class.

Cape Verde. It has year round temps of high 20's. much more reliable than the canaries.
