Can you please recommend beaches between Lyme Regis and Poole?

Must be child friendly, near toilets due to dd2's small but efficient bladder, but no horrid shops/amusements. Thanks...

It has got to be Sandbanks in Poole Harbour on a hot day you could be in the med

Charmouth is good although not too much beach at high tide. Two areas of beach, one of which does not allow dogs in summer. Loos, cafe with rather nasty food but nice ice creams, small shop selling bucket & spade type stuff a strangely sited shop selling second hand dresses (!) and a fossil centre where you can take all the fossils you have found on the beach for identification. Plenty of car parks too - the one nearest the main road is cheapest and also has loos but is a five minute walk - others are right by beach.
