Fuerteventuera or Gran Canaria?

Hello I wondered if anyone might be able to advise please. We’re looking to go away to either Fuerteventuera or Gran Canaria before Easter. Does anyone have any recommendations of good places to stay/things to with an active 4 year old? From what I’ve seen the beaches on F look beautiful but I’ve heard it can be very windy and it’s seems like there might be more to do on GC? Can’t decide!
Thanks

I've never been to either but we've just booked fuerteventura, mostly because it feels less developed and resorty but it sounds like there's still lots to do. My 4yo dd is obsessed with the desert so we reckon the Corralejo dunes will be a winner.

Just been to Corralejo - which has beautiful sandy beaches nearby, but it was windy. Restaurants were very child friendly which was a definite bonus.

DH and I went to TUI Magic Life Fuerteventura in Jandia a couple of years ago. We loved it. There were plenty of children there and lots to do. There was direct access on to the beach, down some steps, where you could feed the chipmunks.

We’ve done Corralejo which was nice too but preferred Jandia.

We have stayed at the TUI Family Life Orquidea (I think that’s how you spell it) in Gran Canaria. It was alright but not a patch on the Magic Life.
