Has anyone stayed on the Maresme Coast, north of Barcelona? I'm currently looking at a week self catering (in August) in Masnou, Arenys de Mar and Canet de Mar. Wondering if anyone knows any of those places. We've been to Barcelona so, whilst we'd probably do a day trip there, doing regular sightseeing in the city isn't a priority. A place where we can just relax, enjoy nice food, do some sightseeing is what we're looking for. There'll be 4 us - me, DH and 2 teenagers (17 and 15).
We stayed on the Costa Brava - L'Estartit a couple of years ago and enjoyed it. Also been to Sitges but now thinking of exploring Maresme Coast. We won't be hiring a car this time but relying on public transport.
