Where would you look for a high end Med villa?

We've got 2 weeks at the end of May and I'd like to find a great villa for 4 adults and an older teen.
At the moment I'm looking at Greece but I don't really know the islands.
We just want a pool, walk to the beach, a few local restaurants and the sort of villa that you think wow. Healthy budget.
Any suggestions for agents and destinations?

Try ‘Oliver’s Travels’. We had a lovely villa in Crete through them. 3 bedrooms, pool that was part indoor and part outdoor and a short walk to the beach.

Can recommend Ionian Island Holidays, some fabulous villas. We went to Kefalonia with them.

Decide whether location is more important or price size or luxury of villa.
Private let sites like Owners Direct or holiday lettings have a budget filter so you can put in day Kefalonia, number in your party and filter to the maximum budget and it will likely include properties not too far away from Kefalonia or wherever you have chosen.
We don’t choose a Vila for sheer size or statement but have always been impressed with cleanliness and the photos have never done the properties we have rented justice they have always been nicer and much bigger than we had imaginied from the photos. If that helps.
