Holidaying in March

We're looking to go away at the end of March - 2 adults, 2 dc aged 2.5 and 3 months. Preferably somewhere warmish (but doesn't have to be hot). Would like to be near beach or somewhere where there's stuff to do for the 2.5 year old. Prefer self catering to AI. Don't really want to fly more than around 7 hours. Budget flexible but would like to keep as low as possible. Any ideas or recommendations?

7 hours is a problem for self catering because 6 gets you to Dubai. You could go to the Canary Islands. 8 hours would get you Antigua, Barbados, etc which would be guaranteed sun. A bit further gets you to smaller Caribbean islands. I suppose there’s always Florida with lots of options for self catering.

What stuff does 2.5 year old want to do? Mine liked pool and beach at that age.

8 hours would be ok I guess! Pool and beach definitely for 2.5 year old. Just thinking not too much full on city stuff.
