Does anyone know if flight socks are recommended for children on long haul flights? Thanks

I would talk to your GP beforehand about this matter. Such socks tend to be more for adults rather than children.

Good idea, I'll check with the GP. Thanks

Not necessary. Children are smaller so have much more space to move around on a long haul flights. They also have fewer risk factors such as obesity and immobility than adults. Non prescription flight socks don’t do much for anyone.

They stop my ankles swelling! However, children should not need them.

I love your optimism, that they might sit still long enough for DVT to become a problem. Grin

Haha, unlikely, I agree!
