Florida - The big holiday

Me, my partner and our DS8 are going on a big family holiday to florida this August for 3 weeks (15 of us in total).
Villa, attraction tickets, flights and car hire is sorted.

I'm just curious how much spending will we need?
I know it's a "how longs a piece of string" type question....
so I'm guess I'm asking how much would you take??
How much would you allocate to food, dinners, shopping malls , trinkets etc?

Spending money isn't as big a cost as the tickets for the parks - Disney and universal. If you are fully self catering in villas this reduces the day to day costs. you can eat breakfast at home, make sandwiches and snacks for lunch and then eat in every other night. I would be allowing at least £50 -60 per person per day adults and children. this would be a minimum.

You can make it as cheap or expensive as you want, and that is whether you are eating at home or going out.

Groceries are really expensive compared to U.K. and eating out in US.

I love an American breakfast - probably $10 per adult in a place like Denny’s . Lunch in parks (counter service) about $15 per adult and dinner at parks or a diner similar. Maybe $20 for snacks? Depends how many soft drinks and coffees you’ll want. We just drink water.

Found states much more expensive than expected. Didn’t ever seem to get change from 100 bucks for a meal. Portions are ridiculous and doggy bags the norm.
