Trying to book a medium size car to rent for a week in Slovenia as I’m visiting a friend who recently relocated there. I stupidly have left it late as we travel on Saturday. Every car hire company seems to require a credit card in offset to hold money for purposes of damage etc. I have already got additional insurance to cover damage etc but understand a credit card is needed so that the rental company can have their money straight away should there be any damage. Does anyone know of a car hire company that doesn’t require a credit card please???
