Overseas Summer Job July-September

Hello,
My daughter age 22 is looking to work abroad during the school summer holidays. She is a secondary school maths teacher and planning to go travelling around the world with a university friend in October. She breaks up at the end of July. Does anyone have any suggestions for a few months away, earning a few pounds? Money is not overly important as long as she is not out of pocket. She would prefer to have a break from teaching. Any suggestions or experiences welcomed. Many thanks.

What about au pair work? I went to Vancouver for a summer with BUNAC who help you get a visa but I did have to find my own flights. It was easy to get a job once I was there though.

She can be a peakie at holiday resorts - repping, bar, that kind of stuff. Doesn't have to be magaluf, there are respectable jobs.

Not much pay but board often thrown in . 6 days a week , long hours.

A teacher at my school works as a kids club counsellor on cruise lines in the holidays.

I worked as a rep on a campsite for a small company (so not Eurocamp). Was great fun.

Or au pair.

I worked for Keycamp (now Eurocamp). Great fun! Pay wasn't great, but no accommodation costs, bills etc. We made extra money babysitting and doing Cheese and Wine parties, BBQs etc. If she gets a site in the South of France, Spain or Italy, sure it's like a paid holiday!

er....if she has the attitude that she's on a paid holiday she won't last five minutes in a resort now.

Any job away from a class of children would be a holiday in my book LOL! I did 4 seasons with Keycamp while at Uni and there was a lot more sunbathing and socialising than working. I've been to campsites in Spain for the last 5 years with my own kids and not much has changed. The reps all seem to be having great time and the work not too taxing. Rep in a package holiday resort now, that's another story!

Some of the American camps - camp matoaka is one I know people have gone to - will take you on for that time. I think that for this sort of thing there are masses more opportunities in the usa than anywhere else and this is where I would start with. she needs to get a move on as they recruit really early.

Some great suggestions; thanks all! She has applied to one of the French campsite companies, so fingers crossed! I think she has looked at the BUNAC website too :) Cruise counsellor also sounds amazing! Plenty here for her to look into; we really appreciate all your suggestions. :)
