Flight bags - I would pack a few things to entertain them incase they are awake for the flight ie colouring books etc. Are yu getting a meal on the plane? It may be an idea to get a few snacks for them incase they wont eat the food or even just to keep them busy for a while.
Not sure about the weather.
Ive never been to salou but used to work in a travel agents and it was always a popular choice with families. Theres port aventura theme park which should keep the kids entertained and theres some nice beaches in that area.
Oh and by the way, enjoy

Things that aren't too small and fiddly with lots of bits to drop, especially round thinks that will end up 20 seats back if they are dropped.

One way to keep them amused for longer is to wrap a few things up like presents. Slows them down a bit and makes it more interesting too.

Nothing that makes electronic noises or you will not be popular.
